1. Shirataki Kogen Campsite (Engaru Town)

Surrounded by birch forests and overlooking potato fields, this campsite is located in the middle of a natural location. It is equipped with bungalows and ram houses made from local larch wood, a kitchen, flush toilets, and Goemon baths (showers). You can also enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking up Hirayama and fishing and rafting on the Yubetsu River.

2. Valley Park (Takinoue Town)

A campsite located within the Valley Park. There is an outdoor cooking area, 24-hour toilets, and plenty of outdoor wooden playground equipment, making it a fun place for families. There are also Valley cottages made from locally sourced materials, and a herb garden, making it an outdoor space suitable for long-term stays. There is also a 36-hole park golf course within the park.

3. Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park (Ozora Town)

This park in the Higashimokoto area is famous for its Moss Phlox. In spring, the slopes of the hills are dyed a vibrant pink, creating a spectacular sight. The park is a fun spot for the whole family, with a campground equipped with uniquely designed bungalows, a 820m long go-kart course, log play equipment, and a fishing pond filled with rainbow trout.

4. Okhotsk Park Tento Land (Abashiri City)

This is the fourth auto campsite to open as a prefectural park. The park overlooks the Sea of Okhotsk and the Shiretoko mountain range, and in addition to camping facilities, it also has facilities for families to enjoy and a park golf course. Various events are also held depending on the season.

5. 21st Century Forest Campsite (Tsubetsucho)

This campsite is adjacent to the city and is equipped with a cooking building, a barbecue house, wooden playground equipment, and more. The Tsubetsu River flows nearby, and there is a park golf course, so you can enjoy the outdoors surrounded by nature to your heart's content. From mid-July to mid-August, you can see fireflies in the stream that runs beside the site, creating a fantastical scene with fireflies flying around in the night sky.

6. Highland Koshimizu Campsite (Koshimizu Town)

The campsite covers an area of 32,000㎡ and is fully equipped with facilities such as a kitchen, toilets, a barbecue house, coin showers and washing machines. This campsite is located in a park filled with greenery that makes the most of the natural environment. Cars are allowed at all sites. 8. Lakeside Park Notoro (Abashiri City)

Lakeside Park Notoro is a marine recreation facility facing the shores of Lake Notoro. The site includes an auto site, cottages and yurts, so even first-timers can enjoy camping with peace of mind. 10. Hamakoshimizu Maehama Campsite (Koshimizu Town)

This campsite is close to the roadside station Hanayaka Koshimizu, and is adjacent to the Furetoi Observatory, which offers views of the Sea of Okhotsk and the Shiretoko mountain range. This campsite is located on the shores of Lake Komuke, which is rich in nature and faces the Sea of Okhotsk. 21. Monbetsu City Gari District Harbor Green Space (Monbetsu City)

It is a mecca for car campers that is known only to those in the know. It is free to use and has a great view. When Okhotsk Tower is open at night, the night view of the breakwater is spectacular. You can fish from the breakwater, the 24-hour toilet called Scallop Toilet is cleaned every day, and there is a convenience store just a 3-minute walk away, so you can enjoy camping comfortably.
