Tsubetsu Town, located in Abashiri District in eastern Hokkaido, is a small municipality with a population of around 5,000, where over 80% of its land is covered by forests. Positioned between the Okhotsk region and inland eastern Hokkaido, it offers convenient access, about an hour by car from Memanbetsu Airport.
