A mountain campground boasting a goemon bath and starry sky

Highland Koshimizu Campsite is a mountain campground located on Highway 102 toward Abashiri from Koshimizu Pass on Mt. As you climb the hill from the road, you will see the administration building on the right and the parking lot in the back. The campground covers an area of 32,000 square meters and is fully equipped with cooking facilities, toilets, a barbecue house, coin-operated showers, and washing machines. Even if you do not have a tent, you can bring your own bedding and stay in a bungalow that sleeps six to seven people.
The campground boasts a star-filled night sky, which can be seen only in the mountains, and the free Goemon Bath. Also, in good early morning conditions, you can see the sea of clouds covering Lake Kussharo from Highland Koshimizu 725, which is located nearby. This is a must for those who want to enjoy the great nature of Hokkaido, which can only be experienced at a quiet campground in the mountains.
