Adorable Ezo-shika deer, small animals, and birds can be encountered.

This is a nature zone where skunk cabbages, Kozo-yamazakura cherry blossoms, and azaleas are seen in spring, and fantastic fireflies light up the area in summer. In 1902, it was designated as Japan's first health and safety forest. Campsites and barbecue ovens are available (for a fee). An athletic facility is also available for children to enjoy. The red sunflower field in the park is planted with about 500 seedlings, which will be in full bloom in late July.
