Marusepu Wisteria Garden
This is a famous flower spot spreading out on a hill in Marusepu city. From Koseiji Temple to Heiwayama Park, 200 wisteria plants bloom on a wisteria trellis totaling 1 km in length. Wisteria planted in Heiwayama Park. The wisteria was first planted in Heiwayama Park in May 1945 by the previous head priest of Koseiji Temple, who received a single wisteria tree.
Around 1973, the number of visitors to the temple began to increase, and the "Wisteria Festival" was started, which is now held at both Heiwazan Park and Heiwazan Park. In addition, wisteria trellises are connected to Heiwayama Park, which is adjacent to Koseiji Temple, and the entire area is being developed as a wisteria park.
