Notsuke Peninsula Native Flower Garden
Overview
Flower garden spreading across the peninsula
This is a flower garden that stretches around the Ryujinzaki area centered on the Notsukezaki Lighthouse at the eastern end of the peninsula. From late May to October, colorful flowers, such as iris and sandai hagi, bloom one after another, delighting visitors strolling along the nature trails.
In addition, near the natural bokko-numa swamp created by the ocean currents, there is a nesting site for red-crowned cranes, which can be seen dancing gracefully and flying away in the fall. It takes about 45 minutes on foot from Notsuke Peninsula Nature Center to Notsukezaki Lighthouse.
