Overview

Midorigaoka Forest Park is a 57-hectare park adjacent to the northern part of the city, a 30-minute walk (about 3 km) from the city center, and is a recreational area for town residents with camping facilities. The forest campground is 16,800 square meters in size, with a central plaza, wooden playground equipment, a slide, swings, and a spire, as well as a 23-point trim course (for elementary and junior high school students).
