Maruyama Park, Nakashibetsu Town
Maruyama Park is a park built on the former riverbed of Shibetsu River and is used as a recreational area for town residents. During the cherry blossom viewing season, people gather at the yakiniku corner (accommodates about 200 people) under the cherry trees (about 200 trees). From the mountain in the center of the park, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the city. There is also a local museum in the park, where materials on the town's pioneer history are on display.
