Nakashibetsu Town Maruyama Park
Maruyama Park was built on the former riverbed of the Shibetsu River and is used as a place of relaxation for the townspeople. During cherry blossom viewing season, people gather at the yakiniku corner (accommodates about 200 people) under the cherry trees (about 200 trees). A panoramic view of the city can be seen from the mountain in the center of the park. There is also a local museum in the park, where materials about the history of the town's pioneering days are on display.
*Please apply in advance to use the multi-purpose plaza and yakiniku corner.
