The result of trying the Hokkaido Souvenir Gacha -> amazing craftsmanship quality!
When I was a child, I used to follow my parents when they went shopping, and I was always compelled to play with "capsule toys": I would put in a 100-yen coin, turn the handle excitedly to see what would come out, and out would come a spherical capsule. I am sure I am not the only one who remembers the joy and sorrow of seeing what was inside....
Capsule toys are now evolving not only as toys for children, but also as products for adults. Some are elaborately made with a sense of "serious playfulness" by the creators, while others are maniacal products that exquisitely hit the secret niche of the "collector's soul" from a niche perspective. The pricing is also appealing, making it easy to turn them around when you find them while you are waiting for a moment.
Today, I came here with a handful of 100 yen coins to spin the capsule toys I was interested in.
Just looking at the stacked and lined capsule toy stands on the wall, my heart is already racing. And here is my challenge today!
These capsule toys are miniature-sized versions of famous Hokkaido sweets and other items! According to the official #C-pla website, this is a product called "Miniature Hokkaido" (TOSHIN Co., Ltd.), which went on sale on October 1, 2021. Carefully selected Hokkaido confections and specialty products that even Hokkaido residents can appreciate have been elaborately reproduced. All of them are popular souvenirs chosen by tourists.

This is "White Black Thunder"! Putting aside the question of whether the product name is white or black... this is a Hokkaido-only version of Black Thunder, which has been on sale since 2011!
I love the fact that it comes in a pack of 12 bags with an outer box. I'm sure she bought them on a trip to find individually wrapped souvenirs to give away to her co-workers, and my imagination is spreading. The fact that they also show us a cross-section of the contents is surreal.
