Dream of Goryo Star (Hakodate City)
Hakodate Goryokaku, Winter Event Goryo Star Dream
Goryokaku is Japan's one and only star-shaped castle.
In winter, the surrounding area is lit up with as many as 2,000 light bulbs, creating a star-shaped glow in the night sky over Hakodate.

For a limited time in winter, Goryokaku Park in Hakodate is illuminated in the shape of beautiful stars 💡.
Viewed from the observation deck of Goryokaku Tower after sunset, you can enjoy the stars in the sky and on the ground at the same time.
A walk around the moat of Goryokaku Park is also a wonderful experience! ✨
Christmas tree made of firewood (Tsurui Village)
I found a very nice Christmas illumination on a street I always pass by.
It was a nice view that made me feel relieved and warm.

It is exciting to discover something new on a familiar road, isn't it? This 📷 captures one such wonderful moment.
The tree is made of cut and split firewood instead of upright trees, which is a novelty 👀.
It reminds me of a fireplace or something, and the warmth of the tree 🌲.
Shoveling snow together (Hatsuyamabetsu Village)
On the day of the heavy snowfall, my grandson helped me shovel snow and we had a great time.
I'm glad that we could get through this harsh winter together.

This season, many parts of Hokkaido were hit by record-breaking heavy snowfall. It must have been a hard time for everyone.
But I am sure that shoveling snow with your children and grandchildren is not a hardship for you.
I am sure you could hear the joyful voices of the children!
