A Must-Visit for Flower and Garden Lovers! Hana Road Eniwa, a Roadside Station Surrounded by Blossoms

Opened in 2006 and fully renovated in 2020, "Hana Road Eniwa" is a place that symbolizes Eniwa City, the "City of Flowers." The exterior of the building is adorned with colorful flowers everywhere.

Inside the bright and spacious building, you'll find not only souvenirs but also original products so tempting you'll want to buy them for yourself.

The baked goods corner is especially recommended. As Eniwa is also famous for its pumpkin production, the pumpkin-based sweets are particularly eye-catching.

Clockwise from top left: "Eniwa no Minori" (Harvest of Eniwa) (¥324 incl. tax), "Megumi no Niwa no Kabocha Pie" (Pumpkin Pie from the Garden of Blessings) (¥237 incl. tax), "Kurimatsu Kabocha" (Chestnut, Matcha, and Pumpkin) (¥270 incl. tax), "Enidora" (¥194 incl. tax), and "Eniwa Sablé" (¥140 incl. tax). Each one is carefully made to bring out the flavor of the ingredients and is truly delicious! By the way, the most popular item is said to be the "Enidora."

The bakery corner where you can buy freshly baked bread is also intriguing, but when it comes to roadside stations, the restaurant is the main attraction. Here, you can dine in a playful space filled with camping gear. It's sure to get the kids excited!

Many people were eating the "Seared Konayuki Tonton Bacon and Vegetable Curry" (¥1,120 incl. tax). "Konayuki Tonton" is the name of the free-range pork from "Ecorin Village," an ecology-themed garden in Eniwa. Not only does the massive slice of bacon make a statement, but the dish is also served in a skillet, making it both delicious and fun!

Another menu item featuring Konayuki Tonton pork is the "Butaman" (Pork Bun) (¥280 incl. tax). Break it open, and a delicious aroma wafts out! You can really taste the pork, and it's very filling.

And for dessert, how about some "Soft-Serve Ice Cream" (¥350 incl. tax)? Made with Hokkaido milk from Bocca, this soft-serve has a smooth texture. Roadside stations and soft-serve ice cream are an inseparable pair, aren't they?

And adjacent to Hana Road Eniwa is the flower hub "Hanafuru," which just opened in November 2020. With seven gardens designed by Hokkaido's leading gardeners, it's the perfect spot for those who love flowers and gardens.
