A campground where you can learn about the benefits of forests and the joy of nurturing trees. It's popular for its indoor barbecue corner in the cooking building, which can be enjoyed even in rainy weather. The center offers magnificent views of volcanoes and mountains, including Lake Toya, Mt. Showa-shinzan, Mt. Usu, and Mt. Yotei.

2. Poroto Forest Campground (Shiraoi Town)

This campground is located deep within the Poroto Forest, taking advantage of Shiraoi's rich nature. You can get close to nature through hiking, forest bathing, and playing in the water. Waking up to the sound of birdsong is a refreshing experience unique to this campground. Nestled at the foot of Mt. Yotei, Mt. 4. Toyoura Town Forest Park (Toyoura Town)

Mori no Furusato Forest Park is a vast park composed of four areas: 'Ikoi no Mori' (Forest of Relaxation), 'Yorokobi no Mori' (Forest of Joy), 'Ikigai no Mori' (Forest of Purpose), and 'Fureai no Mori' (Forest of Interaction). Centered around the 'Ikoi no Mori,' which has a campground, bungalows, an event plaza, and a park golf course, each area features unique facilities like wooden playground equipment based on its theme.

5. Rusutsu Furusato Park (Rusutsu Village)

Located behind the Roadside Station '230 Rusutsu,' this is Rusutsu Village's most recommended park. The facility includes a 'Day Camp Area' for setting up tents and placing tables and benches, as well as a plaza with various playground equipment, a walking path through a primeval forest, a farm for hands-on agricultural experience, a dog run, and a mountain bike course.

6. Furusato no Oka Campsite (Rankoshi Town)

Located behind the roadside station, 'Furusato no Oka Campsite' is a nature-rich campground equipped with a barbecue corner and bungalows. With a cooking area and a barbecue house, enjoying a Genghis Khan meal surrounded by nature is an exceptional experience. You can relax on the lawn, take a stroll along the walking paths for some forest bathing, and encounter wild birds and animals.

Surrounded by white birch trees, this spacious, green site has bungalows, auto sites, and free sites all laid out spaciously. The wide site design prevents interference with neighbors, ensuring a comfortable camping experience. This is a handmade campsite painstakingly built by professional loggers who run a forestry business.
