1 Hokkaido's largest food festival "2024 Sapporo Autumn Fest" (Sapporo)
One of the largest food festivals in Hokkaido, held in Odori Park in the center of Sapporo. This festival offers gorgeous fireworks and delicious food from the Kushiro region. 4 The 42nd Iwamizawa Hyakumochi Festival (Iwamizawa City): Pounding rice cakes with the world's largest rice mortar
This is Iwamizawa's largest festival using its specialty rice (glutinous rice). The main event of the festival, the "Ousu Mochi Pounding," features powerful rice cake pounding using one of the world's largest rice mortars, with a diameter of 2.2 meters and a weight of 5.5 tons. A limited amount of freshly pounded rice cakes will be served to visitors as oshiruko (sweet red bean soup). The "Iwamizawa Passion Festival" will also be held on the same day, offering Iwamizawa agricultural products and processed foods for sale, as well as gourmet foods made from local ingredients.

5 "The 39th Hamamasu Furusato Festival" (Ishikari City), where agricultural, marine and livestock products of Ishikari Hamamasu gather.
This is the first of the three major autumn festivals in Ishikari City. Salmon and other agricultural, marine and livestock products from Hamamasu, Ishikari City will be sold. There are many events such as "Okiage Ondo," a reenactment of the old days of herring fishing, taiko and kagura performances, and a bingo tournament. 9 "MACHI FESTA Sunagawa Autumn Festival" to experience the charm of Sunagawa (Sunagawa City)

The 42nd Yubetsu-cho Industrial Festival is a major event in Yubetsu-cho, where visitors can enjoy the tastes of autumn. A local products marché will be held at Nanairo Nanae Roadside Station.
