Yotei no Fukidashi spring water (Kyogoku Town)

Yotei, this mineral-rich spring water gushes out from the rain and snow that has fallen on the mountain and percolated underground over several decades. The volume of spring water is about 80,000 tons per day, and many people come with bottles to draw water at the water-drawing station located in Fukidashi Park. It has been selected as one of the 100 best waters and is recognized as a Hokkaido Heritage Site.

2. Nandoro Sensui (Rishirifuji Town)

This is the northernmost famous water in Japan, which flows from the subsoil of Mount Rishiri, a superb mountain that towers over Rishiri Island. As its name suggests, it has a subtly sweet taste that quenches the thirst of climbers of Mt. It has been selected as one of the 100 best waters, and the surrounding area has been selected as one of the 100 best forests for forest bathing in Japan.

More than 60 springs of various sizes, including the Naibetsu River Spring, are essential to the lives of Chitose citizens due to their abundant water volume and high water quality. The "Usakumai Ruins" are located in the headwaters of the springs and are a protected area, so it is not possible to collect natural raw water, but water can be collected and drunk from the water pumping station in the "Meisui Fureai Park" located downstream.

Daisetsuzan, located in the center of Hokkaido, is a mineral-rich spring water that has been stored over a long period of time by nature. Higashikawa Town is the only town in Hokkaido without a water supply system, and is loved by many residents for use as water for daily life and agriculture, a key industry. It is also registered as one of the 100 best waters of the Heisei era.

Niubu Cold Water is a spring that originates from the Matsuyama Marsh, which is home to 16 waterfalls called "Juroku-taki" that are scattered throughout the Niubu area. The spring water is cool, refreshing, and delicious, with a water temperature of 6°C even in mid-summer, and may be a good place to visit while enjoying a tour of the waterfalls. It is also registered as one of the 100 best waters of the Heisei Era.

Raiun-no-Mizu is located in Raiun Park in Shari Town, Shiretoko, a World Natural Heritage site. It is well known among locals as soft, easy-to-drink water from the subsoil of Shari-dake (Mt. Shari). It is also popular as a power spot due to its auspicious name.
