Summer's Frosted Trees (Yubari City)
Lake Shuparo, where withered trees standing in the water inspire photographers.
This photo was taken on September 4th of this year, but it's a place that can be enjoyed throughout the four seasons, from the autumn foliage to the dead of winter.

This photo was taken in September, but it looks just like a winter lake❄
If you look closely, you can tell it's not winter because the trees in the background are green, creating a surreal feeling!
It's also known as a famous spot for autumn foliage, so be sure to visit and enjoy the mystical scenery.
A Bear with a Salmon (Shiretoko Peninsula)
In the great wilderness of this World Heritage site, a brown bear roamed freely, feasting on salmon swimming upstream in the river.
I felt the magnificent life force of this creature living with such dignity, and it gave me a sense of excitement and awe I'd never experienced before.
