A dead tree standing on the surface of Lake Schupparo is very attractive to take a picture.
This photo was taken on September 4 of this year, but you can enjoy this place in all seasons, including autumn foliage and midwinter.

This photo was taken in September, but it looks like a winter lake.

Bear with salmon in its mouth (Shiretoko Peninsula)
In the wilderness of the World Heritage site, there was a brown bear walking leisurely and feeding on a salmon running upstream in the river.
It was the most exciting and inspiring experience I have ever had.

It reminds me of the beauty of autumn until just a few days ago 🍁.
I think it is covered with snow now, but I bet the view will be beautiful too...
I'm sure the scenery will be wonderful... I'd like to check this place out now as a destination for next year's fall foliage viewing!
