BTS Once Visited the Sapporo Snow Festival! Discover Their Impressions of Sapporo and a Fan-Favorite 'Holy Site' Ramen Shop

BTS, now one of Asia's top superstars, once visited Hokkaido during the Sapporo Snow Festival. Here's a look at their impressions of Sapporo at the time and a ramen shop that is still known among fans as a "holy site."

The Members' Impressions of Sapporo

BTS visited Hokkaido in 2016 to perform at the "Sapporo Snow Festival K-POP FESTIVAL," an event held since 2009. Here are their comments from that time.

To RM's question, "What image do you have of Sapporo?"

SUGA: "Sapporo has delicious food... I want to eat ramen."
JUNGKOOK: "It's famous for its hot springs, right?"
J-HOPE: "Sapporo is definitely famous for its Snow Festival!"

They all cheerfully talked about the charms of Sapporo.

At their concert at Zepp Sapporo, they performed songs like "RUN," "Boy in Luv," "DOPE," "War of Hormone," and "Attack on Bangtan." It must have been a very precious opportunity for those who attended.

Dedicated to Charity and a Ramen Shop Now a Holy Site

The concert was held on February 6th, but the members arrived in Hokkaido the day before, on the 5th. Upon arriving at New Chitose Airport, they visited a children's welfare facility in Sapporo and interacted with the children. BTS is known for their active charity work, and this shows they have been steadily engaging in such activities since then.

Furthermore, a shop the members stopped by during their 2016 visit is still known among fans as a "holy site." One famous spot is the ramen shop "Ramen Taiga" in Chitose City.
