BTS is now one of the top stars representing Asia. In fact, they once came to Hokkaido when the Sapporo Snow Festival was held. We will introduce their impressions of Sapporo at the time and the ramen shop that is still known as a "holy place" among their fans.
Members' impressions of Sapporo
BTS visited Hokkaido in 2016. They performed at the K-POP event "Sapporo Snow Festival K-POP FESTIVAL," which has been held since 2009. Here are some comments from the members at the time.
In response to RM's question, "What image comes to mind when you think of Sapporo?"
SUGA: "The food in Sapporo is delicious...I want to eat ramen" JUNGKOOK "The hot springs are famous after all." J-HOPE: "Sapporo is famous for its Snow Festival, after all!"
Everyone was happily talking about the charms of Sapporo.
The songs performed at the Zepp Sapporo concert back then were "RUN," "Boy in Luv," "DOPE," "War of Hormone," "Attack on Bangtan," and more. For those who attended back then, it was a very valuable opportunity.
He has been active in charity work since then, and the ramen shop in his sacred place
The concert was held on February 6th, but the visit to Hokkaido was on the previous day, the 5th. After arriving at New Chitose Airport, the members visited a child welfare facility in Sapporo and interacted with the children. BTS is known for their proactive charity work, but it is clear that they have been steadily interacting with children since then.
In addition, the restaurants that the band members visited during their visit to Hokkaido in 2016 are still known as "holy places" among fans. One famous restaurant is "Ramen Taiga," a ramen shop in Chitose City.
