Sandwich Kobo Sandria, a handmade sandwich shop in Sapporo, is a beloved local institution, so much so that it was even featured on an NHK documentary program. And now you can enjoy Sandria's delicious sandwiches anytime! A Sandria vending machine was installed at JR Sapporo Station starting Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
Easily Grab a Handmade Sandwich at the Station!
Founded in 1978, Sandria is a long-established sandwich shop that has been loved by locals for over 40 years. The menu is extensive, with about 30 types of sandwiches and savory buns. The main store in Chuo-ku is also famous for being open 24 hours a day. You might even know of it from its feature on the popular NHK documentary series "Document 72 Hours."

This vending machine allows you to enjoy these locally-loved sandwiches anytime. It offers a wide variety of about 20 types, and also sells reusable eco-bags.

Located in the JR Sapporo Station West Concourse Waiting Area
The vending machine is located in the West Concourse Waiting Area of JR Sapporo Station, just outside the West Ticket Gates. The operating hours are scheduled for 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM, which, true to Sandria's style, is convenient for both early morning commuters and those working late into the night.

Look for the yellow and green stripes, the same as the storefront's exterior. The cute characters Sando-kun, Icchi-kun, and Doria-chan are also featured on the machine.

Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or as a snack for your trip. Enjoy the fresh and wholesome sandwiches loved by the people of Sapporo!
