A town where you can enjoy spectacular views from various angles, such as "A town where a variety of lights shine (Hakodate City)" [Hokkaido Mirai Note (82)].

We would like to introduce three selected photos from the "Hokkaido Mirai Notebook," a collection of wonderful views of Hokkaido photographed and submitted by you! Please enjoy the views of Hokkaido that you would like to leave for the future.

A town with a variety of lights (Hakodate City)

Crescent moon and night view of the foot of Mt. Hakodate seen from Takuboku Ko Park.
The calm Omori-hama beach illuminated by moonlight.
It makes you want to stop the car and take a detour.

A word from the Domingo editorial team
Hakodate is famous for its night view.
Hakodate Observatory is a well-known scenic spot, but the night view looking toward Mount Hakodate is also wonderful!
I'm looking forward to seeing the cherry blossoms in the near future🌸.

Tokachi winter festival "Horse Chasing Campaign" (Otoe Town)

Horse chasing exercise, a winter tradition in Tokachi
It is held to provide exercise for farm horses and pregnant horses.
The horse chasing, including pregnant horses that can weigh up to one ton, is a very dynamic event.

I can feel the power of the horse from the photo!
I heard that Tokachi Farm is open to the public on weekdays only for a limited time during the winter season for "horse chasing exercise".
If you want to go see it next year, please observe the rules so that healthy horses will be born, as it is for the purpose of relieving lack of exercise and ensuring safe births.

Snow-clad Torii (Hatsuyamabetsu Village)

Kompira-san in Hatsuyamabetsu Village is mainly visited in the summer, but it also has a charming appearance throughout the four seasons.
Please visit Kompira-san in winter, when it is full of winter charm.

The torii gate stands in the sea at Kompira Shrine in Hatsuyamabetsu Village.
The timing of the torii gate and the setting sun is said to be the best shutter chance! I'd like to see it 👀!
The shrine is said to be on a cliff 😲.
