Bihoro Pass is known as "the best view in the world" 👀.
Below you can see Lake Kussharo, the largest caldera lake in Japan, Mount Io-zan, the Shiretoko mountain range, and more.
The view varies depending on the angle of view, the season, and the time of day, making it a spot you will want to visit again and again 📷.
Migratory birds (Shintotsukawa Town)
Fukurochi Swamp in Shin Totsukawa Town. Many migratory birds come here to rest their wings in spring and fall.
It is a hidden spot that is not well known yet, and the roosters that take off at sunrise are a sight to behold.

This is an important stopover site for various migratory birds, especially swans, which usually arrive around March.
The sight of these beautiful and powerful birds as they fly away from the area is very moving.
Please observe the rules when viewing the birds and enjoy them in their natural state☺.
Cherry blossoms and Goryokaku Tower (Hakodate)
Goryokaku Park in Hakodate is the last place in Japan where cherry blossoms are at their best.
In 2023, the cherry blossoms were at their best earlier than usual due to the mild weather.
The park is very crowded during the cherry blossom season, but we were able to enjoy it at night with fewer people.

Goryokaku Park in Hakodate is famous as a sightseeing spot, but it is also a very popular cherry blossom viewing spot!
There are approximately 1,500 cherry blossom trees in the fortress...it's a spectacular sight ✨.
