Camp4 is a campground in Yosemite National Park, a sacred place where climbers and hikers gather from all over the world. The first person to stay at the camp becomes the host and welcomes newcomers as guests. When the host departs, the person who stayed as a guest becomes the host and welcomes the next guest.

After experiencing Camp4, Mr. Togega felt that this cycle of "entertaining visitors with what you can do, and then having them entertain the next guest with what they are good at" was very similar to the culture of Niseko. Thus, "Camp&Go" was born in 2019.

Camp&Go consists of 6 lots, including SPROUT, and 3 lots where stores can stay. Each plot is called a "site" like a campground. And the people who work there are nicknamed "campers". It is our hope that people will share their time together like friends who met at a campsite.

The store brings together campers who create their own unique lifestyle by combining the "outdoors" and "life" in Niseko.

The first is "Pyram Organics & Plants," a select store for organic foods and houseplants, "Stride Lab Niseko," which sells trail running shoes and proposes healthy running, "Stride Lab Niseko," which sells bicycle Mizuno Bicycle Shop, which sells bicycle repairs and parts.

Just like Camp4, where people from all walks of life gather and depart, there are campers who have actually encountered something here that has benefited their activities and departed for a new place.

The white space called "WHITE WALL ROOM" is a gallery where pop-up stores and art exhibitions can be held. In addition, an outdoor space called "TUNNEL VIEW" located at the back between SPROUT and the new building will be used for events such as a marché on holidays.

For example, the artist Ai Sasaki taught me how to look at artwork through conversation during my stay. I thought it was interesting to think of it from the perspective of a single work of expression, and to apply that perspective to coffee as well. On the other hand, with silkscreen artist Naomi Kazama, we did yoga together every day at 5:00 a.m. in this space where Naomi's work is displayed (laughs).

In addition to art, the space also hosts a variety of other events, including photo exhibitions, clothing and accessory exhibitions and sales, talk sessions, and seminars. Many people have settled in the Niseko area or have found new jobs through connections with people who came to see their exhibitions. Another interesting aspect of WHITE WALL ROOM is the chemical reactions that occur as a result of local influences. Of course, the influence of Niseko's natural environment on campers is also a major factor.
