Hosting Special Events with Guests from Across the Country

Mami-san has a wide network of contacts, and at least once a month, interesting shops and people from places like Tokyo come to host pop-up events. For example, the chef from the popular "Suiyobi no Curry" (Wednesday Curry) in Tokyo served curry at Jagaimo for two days only, and farmer-pâtissier Takeo Imura offered a special course for just three days.

Sometimes it's a curry shop!? A pop-up event with "BLOCK HOUSE Suiyo Curry" from Harajuku.

It feels a bit limiting to just call it a "snack bar"—it's that kind of fun place. Although it hasn't been open for long, it has recently earned the affectionate nickname "Potato," and you often hear people say, "Let's go to Potato."

Paella and wine night

Sometimes it's a paella and wine night. The bar's character changes depending on when you visit!

Snack Jagaimo, sometimes called Potato. This one-of-a-kind space is a place you'll get hooked on after just one visit. Guests mingle frequently, and you might even get to hear directly from Tokachi's producers. It's a farmers' snack bar that Tokachi needed but never had. Why not start by checking out one of their events?
