A Hill with Beautiful Lingering Snow (Biei Town)
I took this photo of Biei's beautiful patchwork from the Goryo Hills.
Even in late May, the Tokachi Mountain Range still has snow, making it look like a zebra pattern.
This is the perfect season to see both the lingering snow and the green wheat fields.
The hills are exceptional at this time of year.

This was taken in late May! Being able to see snow-capped mountains and lush green nature at the same time is a view unique to Hokkaido 👀
In spring, the area is covered in green, and as the seasons change, the colors shift, resembling a patchwork quilt, which is why it's called the 'Patchwork Hills.'

White Shell Road and an Ezo Deer Family (Wakkanai City)
I was able to capture this perfectly timed shot of an Ezo deer family I encountered on the White Shell Road, a tourist spot in Wakkanai City that leads to the sea.
Please note that this road is narrow, and as a local rule, it is one-way from the Cape Soya side. Thank you for your cooperation.

Located in the Soya Hills of Wakkanai City, the 'White Road' is a mysterious path with a white surface.
The white material is actually crushed scallop shells, a specialty of Wakkanai!
Enjoy this road, paved with crushed shells for about 3km, under a clear blue sky 🚲
