Hills with beautiful lingering snow (Biei Town)
The beautiful patchwork of Biei was photographed from Goryo Hill.
Even in late May, the Tokachi-dake mountain range has lingering snow, looking like a zebra pattern.
This is the perfect time to see the lingering snow and the green of the wheat fields at the same time.
The hills at this time of year are exceptional.

The photo was taken in late May! Even so, you can see snow-covered mountains and nature full of greenery at the same time, which is a view unique to Hokkaido 👀.
Biei is called the "Patchwork Hill" because of the green color that spreads across the landscape in spring, changing its color with each passing season and looking like a patchwork of fabrics.
This is one of the fascinating pictures of Biei-cho, a town of hills 📸.
A road of white seashells and a parent and child of Ezo sika deer (Wakkanai City)
I was able to take a well-timed photo of a father and son of Ezo sika deer I met on the white shell road leading to the sea, a famous sightseeing spot in Wakkanai City.
The road is narrow and the local rule is one-way traffic from the Cape Soya side. Thank you for your cooperation.

A word from the Domingo editorial staff
In the Soya Hills of Wakkanai City, there is a mysterious road called "White Road" where the ground is white.
The white color is actually scallop shells, a specialty of Wakkanai!
Please enjoy the path made of crushed scallop shells for about 3 km under the blue sky.
