Opened in 2022 in Kushiro City, Hokkaido, the popular sweet shop "Fresh Cream Desserts jiri" features the full talents of a veteran pastry chef, utilizing ingredients from the Eastern Hokkaido region. Luxurious Sweets Made with an Abundance of Eastern Hokkaido Ingredients

"Fresh Cream Desserts jiri" is located in Kushiro, the town of "jiri" (sea fog). On the day of our visit, the town was enveloped in a thick fog. The pasture grass grown in the unique sea fog of the Eastern Hokkaido region is said to be delicious due to its salt content. At this shop, you can enjoy cakes and baked goods made with milk from cows raised in Kushiro's climate, available for both dine-in and takeout.

An Array of Blissfully Fluffy Sweets

Starting with the "Kiri no Pudding," which has an addictively smooth texture, another popular item is the "Kiri no Cheesecake," a two-layered creation with a rare cheesecake top layer made from Hokkaido mascarpone cheese and a baked cheesecake bottom layer made with carefully selected ingredients. The most popular item of all is the "Kiri no Fruit Omelette," filled with plenty of fresh cream. Sliced bananas and a refreshing apricot sauce, inspired by the Kushiro sunset, add a perfect accent.

The drink menu features the "jiri Blend," a coffee with a high-quality bitterness and a refreshing aftertaste, supervised by Funaki Coffee, a specialty coffee roaster in Kushiro City. Other options include the jiri Latte, jiri Affogato, and jiri Milk, all of which pair perfectly with jiri's sweets.
