In 2022, the popular sweets store "Fresh Cream Desserts jiri" opened in Kushiro, Hokkaido, making full use of ingredients from the East of Hokkaido, and veteran patissiers are fully engaged in their skills. Here we introduce a variety of luxurious sweets, including the popular "Foggy Fruit Omelet" and "Foggy Cheesecake!
Luxurious sweets using the best ingredients from the east of Hokkaido
Fresh Cream Desserts jiri is located in Kushiro, a town of sea fog. On the day of our visit, the area was shrouded in thick fog. The grass grown in the sea fog, which is unique to the East Hokkaido area, is said to be delicious because of its salty taste. At this store, you can enjoy cakes and baked goods made with milk from cows raised in Kushiro's climate, either eat-in or take-out.
Eat-in is also available in the cute store.

The "Foggy Pudding" with its smooth texture is addictive, and the "Foggy Cheesecake" with two layers: the upper layer is rare cheese made with Hokkaido mascarpone cheese, and the lower layer is baked cheese cake made with the finest ingredients. The most popular of all is the "Foggy Fruit Omelette" filled with plenty of fresh cream. Sliced bananas and a refreshing apricot sauce reminiscent of a Kushiro sunset accent the omelet.

The drink menu includes "jiri blend" with a fine bitter taste and refreshing aftertaste supervised by Funaki Coffee, a specialty coffee roaster in Kushiro City, as well as jiri latte, jiri affogado, jiri milk, and other drinks that go perfectly with the jiri sweets.
