What is F VILLAGE Snow Park?
Located within the entertainment complex "Hokkaido Ballpark F Village," which includes the new stadium for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, a "Ski Experience Area" and a "Sledding & Snow Play Area" will open sequentially from November 1st. You can rent ski sets and wear, so you can come empty-handed! From ski beginners to families with children, everyone can enjoy playing in the snow starting in November.
Four Key Features of F VILLAGE Snow Park
POINT 1: Perfect for Your First Snow Experience!
In most parts of Hokkaido, there is still no snow accumulation in November. However, F VILLAGE Snow Park uses artificial snowmaking and a special snow mat with excellent gliding properties, snow retention, and durability, allowing you to have a ski experience as early as November.
POINT 2: Dedicated Slopes for Beginners!
F VILLAGE Snow Park has three types of dedicated beginner slopes. Course A is a forest trail located closest to the ballpark. Course B, situated next to it, is the main slope—a wide and short course perfect for beginners. The final one, Course C, is the longest in F VILLAGE Snow Park, with a total length of 85 meters.
If you're worried about going to a large ski resort, we recommend getting some practice here first before taking on the challenge.
POINT 3: Support from Concierge Staff!
From advice on rental equipment to tips on how to enjoy the snow, the concierge staff will provide thorough support. You can rent ski boots and wear from the outdoor brand "Salomon." Veteran staff will also advise you on size fitting and ski adjustments. Furthermore, a paid ski academy is also available, allowing you to learn as part of your Hokkaido sightseeing trip.
POINT 4: Easy Uphill Travel with the Snow Escalator!
For beginners who find it difficult to move around with skis on, F VILLAGE Snow Park is equipped with a snow escalator (also known as a magic carpet). This escalator moves over the snow, allowing you to travel while standing on the ground, so even those who are not comfortable with getting on and off ski lifts can safely reach the top of the slope.
Hours and Admission Fees
F VILLAGE Snow Park is scheduled to be open from November 1st (Wed) to the end of February 2024, operating from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM daily. The admission fee is 2,200 yen for adults and 1,650 yen for children (up to 12 years old). There are also special package plans available that include admission, ski equipment, and sled rentals.
