From the Hakodate Port Festival featuring fireworks synchronized to the music of GLAY, to the 10,000-shot spectacle at Sapporo Bankei, and the inaugural Otaru Takashima Fireworks, there's a packed lineup of must-see events. The Hakodate Port Festival is Hakodate's largest festival, bringing excitement to the entire city. Held on the first day, the 70th Doshin Fireworks Display is a five-part program. Various fireworks, including wide starmine, powerful 12-inch shells, set-piece fireworks, and water fireworks, are launched in time with music. The third part will feature a special display synchronized to the songs of the rock band GLAY, who hail from Hakodate.

The Tomamin Tomakomai Centennial Fireworks, held at the fishing port area, livens up Tomakomai's annual summer port festival. The fireworks launched against the backdrop of the jet-black sea are a truly stunning sight.

This fireworks display is held at the Sapporo Bankei Ski Area, a popular spot for skiing and snowboarding in winter. During the day, enjoy food trucks, festival stalls, street performances, and a music festival. At night, about 10,000 fireworks will light up the Bankei night sky.

This festival offers a spectacular fireworks display unique to Tokachi Port in Hiroo Town. Famous for its Chinese fireworks launched up close and its gorgeous water fireworks that look like flowers blooming on the sea surface. Other attractions include YOSAKOI Soran dance performances, taiko drumming, food stalls, a sea breeze sauna festival, and kids' events, making it a perfect summer festival in Tokachi for families and couples.

The Iwanai Doto Festival features stalls with fresh seafood unique to the port town, as well as various stage events like music and dance. The fireworks display, held from 8:00 PM on the first day, August 2nd, will launch approximately 5,000 fireworks over Iwanai Port.

The inaugural Otaru Takashima Fireworks is being held for the first time this year. It's a revival of the Takashima Fishing Port Evening Cool Fireworks Display that once lit up the summers of Takashima, Otaru, five years ago. Responding to calls to "see fireworks in Takashima again," this new event will feature about 4,000 fireworks, including water fireworks and special announcement fireworks for memorial services and prayers for a good catch.

As Hokkaido's largest fireworks festival, this is a hugely popular summer event, boasting about 200,000 visitors. The show is famous for its production that synchronizes fireworks, music, and lighting, creating a highly entertaining spectacle that captivates the audience. The finale features the traditional Nishiki Kamuro fireworks, which spread across the entire night sky, bringing the festival to a magical close.

This Bon dance festival, a specialty of Mikasa, features live singing and music from an 8-meter-high tower, and the fireworks are also a highlight. On the first day, Wednesday the 13th, a "Small Fireworks Display" will be held from 6:45 PM. On the final day, Friday the 15th, there will be an evening fireworks display from 7:00 PM, followed by a finale fireworks show from 8:30 PM.

This fireworks display features a collaboration between the fireworks and the glowing lights of fishing boats (isaribi) on the Tsugaru Strait. Don't miss the unique fireworks, including squid-shaped ones that give a real Hakodate feel.
