Snow Miku Train 2024" will start running around the city of Sapporo! Snow Miku Train 2024" is now in operation!
Here are some of the past Snow Miku trains! I am sure there are some trains that you have ridden and seen in the past.
2011: The memorable first Snow Miku train
Snow Miku was born in 2010, and in 2011, she was wrapped in a scarf, gloves, and ear muffs on a streetcar! This is the commemorative first design.
2014 Theme: "Magical Girl" inspired by Hokkaido's winter
This year will also see the introduction of Yukine the Rabbit, Snow Miku's now-familiar pet character.
2018 Theme: "Animals" inspired by Hokkaido's snow
Snow Miku in a costume featuring a red-crowned crane. Collaboration with Maruyama Zoo was also held.
Theme for 2021: "Illumination" inspired by Hokkaido's snow
The costumes were reminiscent of glitter and winter illumination. The first exhibition event was held at Wing Bay Otaru in this year.
Theme for 2023: "Sky Scenery," inspired by Hokkaido's winter
The Snow Miku train in 2023 had an impressive gradation and fluffy design, and with the Sapporo Snow Festival being held for the first time in three years at the Odori venue, the Snow Miku snow sculpture exhibit also returned to Odori Park, attracting many visitors.
The "Snow Miku Train 2024" is now in operation again, and we hope you will take a ride on it when you visit Sapporo for sightseeing or "SNOW MIKU 2024.
