This is the only "fighting dandon" held in Hokkaido!
The sight of beautiful and large dandongs colliding with each other is very powerful 👀.
The festival is scheduled to be held again this year around mid-August, so be sure to check it out!
Rotating hokke (Shibetsu Town)
This is the scene that made me realize I had come to a fishing town.
Hockey fish were spinning in the eaves of a small string shop, glistening in the morning sun.
