What is SAPPORO HOTEL by GRANBELL?

Scheduled to open in February 2025, SAPPORO HOTEL by GRANBELL is a new designer hotel located on the east side of JR Sapporo Station at Kita 6-jo Higashi 2-chome, near the station for the new Shinkansen line planned to open in 2030. This 26-story hotel, standing approximately 100 meters tall, features a total of 605 guest rooms and can accommodate up to 1,924 people. Its main attractions include a "Spa & Sauna with an open-air bath" on the 25th floor offering panoramic views of Sapporo from its large windows, and a "Rooftop Restaurant" where you can enjoy stunning night views from a height of 100 meters.

The entrance lobby welcomes guests with an elegant and bright spatial design. It's a tranquil space surrounded by natural materials where you can not only check in and out but also enjoy light meals and drinks.

The guest rooms are simply designed with bright and calm colors, yet feature accents that express the essence of Hokkaido through artwork and lighting. A key feature is the floor-to-ceiling windows, which offer a view from the upper floors that soothes travel fatigue, making you feel as if you are lying in the Sapporo sky.

SAPPORO HOTEL by GRANBELL is operated by the Granbell Hotel Group, which develops resort and city hotels both in Japan and internationally under the concept of "FUN to STAY - Creating a hotel experience tailored to the city." Construction is underway for its scheduled opening in April 2025, positioned as a premium-grade hotel, same as the GINZA HOTEL by GRANBELL which opened in April 2023.
