This year's movie, "Detective Conan: The Million-dollar Pentagram," is set in Hakodate, Hokkaido! To celebrate the April 12th (Friday) release, a ton of collaboration events are happening in Hakodate and Sapporo! From stamp rallies to specially wrapped trains, here's all the info on the Detective Conan collaboration events taking place in Hokkaido this spring.

1Hakodate City Tour Stamp Rally & Photo Spot Panels

A stamp rally is being held across Hakodate, the setting of the movie and a popular tourist destination. Visit 10 rally spots around the city and collect stamps at five of them to receive original merchandise on a first-come, first-served basis. Depending on the number of spots you visit, you can also get AR photo frames and enter a lottery to win deluxe prizes.

Additionally, a "Hakodate City Tour Map" (which doubles as the stamp sheet) featuring locations from the movie and stamp rally spots will be distributed at various locations in Hakodate. Grab a map and set out to explore the city that serves as the movie's backdrop.

2Hakodate City Tram & Bus Collaboration

A Hakodate city tram will operate with an original wrapping design, and its interior will also be decked out in a Conan theme. Additionally, at six stops—Yunokawa, Yunokawa Onsen, Goryokaku Koen-mae, Matsukaze-cho, Hakodate Eki-mae, and Jujigai—you can hear announcements in the voice of the protagonist, Conan Edogawa (CV: Minami Takayama).

A specially wrapped bus will also operate on routes within Hakodate city. On this bus, you can also hear in-vehicle announcements by Conan Edogawa (CV: Minami Takayama) at certain stops.

In addition to the wrapped vehicles, a limited quantity of Hakodate Bus & Tram 1-Day Passes will be sold. The design features an original, newly drawn "Hakodate x Detective Conan" illustration.

To commemorate the movie's release, welcome flags featuring the movie's key visual and original illustrations will appear throughout Hakodate city, welcoming tourists and fans.

The Mt. Hakodate Ropeway, popular with tourists, will hold a collaboration project until September 30 (Mon). The Mt. Hakodate Ropeway Sanroku Station will be specially decorated, and original photo spot panels will be set up at the summit of Mt. Hakodate. There will also be many other activities, including an Instagram post campaign and ropeway announcements featuring Conan's voice.

The Detective Conan merchandise event, "Detective Conan Plaza," is confirmed to be held in Hakodate, the setting of the movie. The main visual is a new illustration created for the Plaza, featuring Conan, Heiji, and Kaito Kid for the first time. A wide variety of Detective Conan goods will be available.

This exhibition commemorates the 30th anniversary of the Detective Conan manga series. It delves into the history and charm of the work through six themes, and will also feature a special movie exclusive to this exhibition, as well as the first-ever public display of valuable initial concept materials.

Chapter 4: CONAN's HANNIN Area

To celebrate the movie's release, a collaboration cafe will open for a limited time at 10 venues in 7 cities across Japan, including Sapporo. The theme is "Garden Party." The main visual features newly drawn illustrations of the characters in outfits perfect for a garden party on a terrace or in a garden, holding dried flowers and bouquets. The menu will also feature items inspired by Hakodate, Hokkaido, the setting of the movie.
