Leaping Salmon in Kiyosato & More: Hokkaido Mirai Note (39)
"Hokkaido Mirai Note" is a project that collects photos of Hokkaido scenery we want to preserve for the future.
This time, we're excited to share three carefully selected photos with you!
The Fish Migration in Kiyosato Town
I stopped by Sakura Falls during a solo trip to Eastern Hokkaido for my summer vacation.
It was the perfect season to see the cherry salmon migrating upstream, so I took this photo!
I was truly amazed by the fish leaping with all their might!

Sweet Shrimp Rice Bowl in Mashike Town
This is the sweet shrimp rice bowl I had at Fukuyoshi in Mashike Town.
The shrimp were incredibly fresh, almost bursting with flavor, and the rich, sweet taste that melted in my mouth was just incredible!
It was a moment that made me feel truly glad to live in Hokkaido.

Marchen no Oka (Fairy Tale Hill) in Ozora Town
Marchen no Oka is a place that delights visitors in every season.
Below the row of trees, you'll find crops that represent Hokkaido. It's especially beautiful when the wheat ripens, as the setting sun between the trees bathes the golden ears of wheat in a stunning glow.
