The annual Yonbangai Festival is coming to Odori, the heart of Sapporo! On Sunday, July 7, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sapporo Ekimae Dori in Odori will be turned into a pedestrian paradise with many stalls and various events such as professional wrestling and idol live performances. Yonbangai Festival is an annual festival held in Odori, Sapporo, where the central Odori area becomes a pedestrian paradise from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on July 7 (Sunday).

The Yonbangai Festival features an array of kitchen cars offering delicious food such as candy apples, waffles, soft-serve ice cream, roast beef, and more! St. John's Wood, an Irish pub, will also be on hand, serving draft beer, fried chicken, sausages, and more.

The "Nigginigi Nigi Stalls" will also be open for free, offering goldfish scooping, yo-yo fishing, and other fun fair activities.

The Yonbangai Festival is full of events! An ice sculpting performance titled "Midsummer Machinaka Carving Ice Performance" will be held on a special stage at the 4-chome scramble intersection. There will also be an "Amezaiku Demonstration Stall" where traditional Japanese Amezaiku crafts will be performed to create a series of animals and characters, and raffle tickets will be distributed three times at 12:45, 13:40, and 15:10, with the winners receiving Amezaiku.

From 14:00 to 15:30, a professional wrestling ring will appear in the middle of Sapporo! A powerful wrestling show as "EWA Amateur Wrestling" will be held and the audience will be enthralled.

In addition, the stage at the 4-chome scramble intersection will host a variety of stages including bodybuilding, idol, Latin & samba, and more.

The festival atmosphere will be at its peak with the "Yonbangai Shosho Mikoshi" parade by other powerful carriers! Please join us for this once-a-year festival held in the heart of Sapporo Odori.
