To commemorate the Hokkaido Tournament, a "Shogi Japan Series Hokkaido Tournament Commemorative Player Talk Event Supported by Domingo" will be held the night before the match. Domingo is proud to support the Hokkaido Tournament. This year, the event will be released on YouTube! It promises to be a rare opportunity to see the players in a relaxed setting, different from their serious demeanor during matches.

Furthermore, the "TableMark Children's Tournament" will be held on Saturday, September 21st, at the Sapporo Convention Center. The "TableMark Children's Tournament" is Japan's largest children's shogi tournament, aimed at conveying the fun of shogi to kids. The day will be packed with various events, including block matches, free-play games, tsume-shogi (mating puzzle) quizzes, instructional games with pro players, and watching the JT Pro Official Tournament.
