Sunset from Sanbonsugi-iwa (Setana Town)
This is "Sanbonsugi-iwa," the symbol of Setana Town. It is made of black, hard pyroxene andesite and stands about 30 meters tall.
It's a must-visit spot when you come to Setana.
The sunset over the Sea of Japan, sinking behind Sanbonsugi-iwa, is incredibly beautiful and a highly recommended spot.

On an afternoon when the snow-capped Mount Komagatake was clearly visible on the opposite shore, a train with a nostalgic color scheme, reminiscent of a diesel railcar from the Japanese National Railways era, arrived.
