11. Furano Ropeway: A Breathtaking Panoramic View Below

The Furano Ropeway is located in the Kitanomine area on the outskirts of Furano, where ski resorts and accommodations are concentrated. The convenient way to get to the Kitanomine area is by taking the Furano Bus "Lavender-go." It's about a 20-minute ride from the front of JR Furano Station to the "New Furano Prince Hotel" bus stop. From the ropeway, you can see the Tokachi Mountains and the Furano Basin on your way to the summit station at an altitude of 900 meters, offering a vast and exhilarating landscape. The autumn foliage season is especially recommended.

Located on the grounds of the New Furano Prince Hotel, Ningle Terrace is a forest of craft shops produced by So Kuramoto. The forest, dotted with cute log cabins, feels like you've wandered into a fairy tale world. The craft shops display and sell unique crafts that can only be found here, including wood carvings, candles, and paper crafts. At night, the forest is lit up, creating a romantic atmosphere.

This 2,000 m² British-style garden boasts over 450 varieties of flowers that bloom throughout the seasons. You can also visit the interior of the "Green House" which appeared in the drama. The garden, with its flowers swaying in the wind and changing expressions each season, is sure to soothe both body and soul.

The wonderful aroma of coffee wafts from the building, which stands quietly in the forest. Enjoying coffee while gazing at the Furano forest, which changes its appearance with the seasons, will surely bring you a gentle, flowing time.
