A Boy and Hydrangeas in Kyowa, and More: Hokkaido Mirai Note (40)
Welcome to Hokkaido Mirai Note, a project where we collect scenes of Hokkaido that we want to preserve for the future.
This time, we're introducing three carefully selected posts!
A Boy and Hydrangeas in Kyowa Town
Myozenji Temple in Kyowa Town, which I visited with my son in the summer. It's also known as the "Hydrangea Temple of the North," and it's filled with beautiful, colorful hydrangeas in full bloom.

Cows in Taiki Town
When I set up my camera at our family's pasture, they all came closer. I'm living a peaceful life, getting along with the cows.

A Commemorative Statue in Makkari Village
This is the "Takashi Hosokawa Commemorative Statue" in Makkarigawa River Park. The statue of Mr. Takashi Hosokawa singing passionately with Mt. Yotei in the background was particularly memorable for its masked appearance, practicing the "New Hokkaido Style."
