In addition, there will be talk sessions and panel displays introducing initiatives related to Tokachi's primary industries, food, and tourism. Located in Tokachi-Obihiro, HOTEL NUPKA offers visitors from around the world a "live-like-a-local" travel experience. The "NUPKA MARCHE from Tokachi" is an event where a carefully selected range of food, crafts, and other items recommended by NUPKA will be gathered in Sapporo. With a morning event and talks held the day before, it's a perfect opportunity to experience the charm of Tokachi-Obihiro while in Sapporo.

Additionally, Michi-no-Eki Churui will be selling their popular "Pure White Lily Bulb Cream Puffs." These will be available from 1:00 PM on both Saturday, October 12th, and Sunday, October 13th, with a limited quantity of 50 each day. Popular items may sell out, so be sure to stop by early.

Morning Event and Talk Sessions on the Day Before the Marche

NUPKA MARCHE from Tokachi

The venue, D-LIFEPLACE B1F, has excellent access with a direct connection to Chi-Ka-Ho.

On Friday, October 11th, the day before the "NUPKA MARCHE from Tokachi," a morning event will be held from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, featuring tastings of light meals from Tokachi and a talk session about the future of the region. Also on Friday the 11th, starting at 6:30 PM, there will be a meet-up and talk event. This will feature an introduction to the short film "The Bride of the Horse-drawn Sleigh," which showcases Tokachi's horse culture, with director Yoshiro Osaka in attendance.


Director Yoshiro Osaka's short film "The Bride of the Horse-drawn Sleigh" is set in Tokachi during the 1950s.

Furthermore, starting from Thursday, October 10th, a panel exhibition will be held. It will introduce concepts like "new consumption by the 'related population'," a mechanism for sustainable regional contribution advocated by the event organizers, Tokachi City Design Inc., and Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company.
