I often shoot from the local coast or high ground, and I'm captivated by nature's show, which reveals different changes each time.

I've always wanted to photograph the Tengu's Fire-Walking in Furubira Town.
I was in awe of the Tengu walking through a pillar of fire over 3 meters high!

A long-standing major summer event in Furubira Town! The Tengu's Fire-Walking is a ritual to purify the sacred palanquin, led by Sarutahiko wearing a Tengu mask, as they walk through the town.
Many people gather every year to see this thrilling fire-walking, where the pillar of fire can reach a height of about 3 meters.👺
Tsubetsu Pass at Night (Tsubetsu Town)
Tsubetsu Pass at night. While it's a famous spot for the stunning sea of clouds at dawn, at night it transforms into another world with a beautiful starry sky.
As your eyes adjust to the darkness, a fantastical landscape unfolds in the pitch-black night.
