I photograph sunrises and sunrises over the Sea of Okhotsk in all seasons.
I often shoot from the local beach or high ground, and I am fascinated by the show of nature that shows various changes from time to time.

Tengu Fire Walking (Kodaira Town)
Tengu no Hiwatari in Kodaira-cho, which I wanted to photograph.
The Tengu walking through the fire pillar over 3m high is breathtaking!

This is a big summer event in Kodaira Town that has been passed down for a long time! The Tengu fire-walking is a ceremony to purify the sacred body of the god, led by Sarutahiko, a man wearing a tengu mask.
Every year, many people gather to watch the powerful fire-walking ceremony, in which fire pillars reach a height of about 3 meters.
Tsubetsu Pass at night (Tsubetsu Town)
Tsubetsu Pass at night. This is a spectacular spot with a sea of clouds in the early morning, but at night it's a different world with a beautiful starry night sky.
The more your eyes become accustomed to the darkness, the more fantastic the scenery becomes.
