Wheat Rolls (Ozora Town)
I love Hokkaido's nature and photograph everything from animals and wild birds to starry skies and landscapes.
My photos may be humble, but I'm very grateful for the opportunity to have them featured.

The sight of round straw rolls scattered across the fields is a common one in Hokkaido, isn't it? 👀
These are made by rolling up the straw left after harvesting wheat, and they become soft, fluffy beds for cows and other livestock.
In some towns, they even hold competitions at festivals using these large and very heavy straw rolls!
Yamabiko Falls (Engaru Town)
Yamabiko Falls. A waterfall about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot.
There was no one there in the early morning, and the moment I arrived, while being cautious of bears, I was captivated by the waterfall's impressive drop and beauty.
This is one of the shots I took after trying many different compositions. It's a place I want to visit again.

The light shining on the cascading waterfall creates a truly mystical atmosphere.
During the peak of winter's cold, the waterfall freezes over, becoming like a single pillar of ice.
It's also lit up at night, making it even more beautiful, so it's a spot worth visiting again in the winter season ✨
Natsuzora no Furusato (Otofuke Town)
Stopped by the roadside station in Otofuke during my trip.
You can experience the world of the NHK serial TV drama "Natsuzora."

At the roadside station "Natsuzora no Furusato" in Otofuke Town, you can enjoy delicious local food, a shop selling agricultural and livestock products, hands-on events, and an adjacent park and plaza. It's a spot brimming with the charm of a town rich in nature and thriving on agriculture.
It's a great place to stop by for a family outing or during your tour of the Tokachi area!
