"CocoLi" - A relaxing space where sheep welcome you

CocoLi

CocoLi appears alone on the road, making you wonder where it is.

The small bagel shop "CocoLi" is a soothing space where sheep will greet you with their bleating sounds. It also houses the coffee shop "Hajime" and the apparel shop "noumu". All three stores share the same entrance, so it can be a little nerve-wracking to enter. Once inside, you'll be greeted by carefully selected apparel. To the far right are the in-house roasting coffee shop "Hajime" and "CocoLi". The space created by these three stores is very cozy, with an atmosphere perfect for a day off. The stylish interior, with its warm wood and white motif, and the view outside the window, gives off a feeling of Hokkaido.

They use plenty of ingredients from Hokkaido, and do not use eggs, oil, or dairy. They are also additive-free. They are delicious and healthy, so they kill two birds with one stone. The reason they started making bagels in the first place was because they wanted to feed their children and husband something delicious and healthy. Although it is basically a takeaway, there are chairs outside the store, so you can relax on the terrace on nice days.

When the sun goes down, outside you can enjoy a starry sky. It is open until 7:00pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so it is a great place for a date.

Also, there is good news for those who live far from Otofuke Town. "CocoLi" started out as a stall at events, and even now that it has set up shop, it continues to do so with a special feeling. "There are many people in Tokachi who look forward to events, so we hope to continue to be a place where everyone can come and spend special time together on their days off," says owner Hogi Shiori.

In recent years, they have opened many stores outside of Tokachi, and in Sapporo, you can find them at department stores such as "Daimaru" and "Marui Imai" as well as outdoor events. In addition, "CocoLi" bagels are delivered via "Anytime Iiyo Bin", which is a random assortment of 10 kinds of bagels that can be ordered on Instagram, so be sure to check out their store information!

The person who makes these delicious bagels is Shiori, who has a charming smile. "We've had baked goods on the menu from the beginning, but we've had more opportunities to be invited to events and the like, which has led us to broaden our offerings," she says. Recently, she has been gradually increasing the sale of baked goods in addition to bagels. Of the baked goods, one that is particularly noteworthy is the crunchy "yeast scone." This is Shiori's top recommendation, and she says it's a dish that you should definitely try if you come.

Both the bagels and baked goods are heartwarming and delicious. It's best to eat them as soon as you buy them, but they can also be frozen to make them last longer, so they're also recommended as gifts.
