1 Jozankei Onsen Yuki-Toro 2025: Illuminating Winter in Jozankei with Candles and Projection Mapping

This "Snow Art Festival" is back again this year, set at Jozankei Shrine, which sits on a hill overlooking Jozankei Onsen. About 1,000 handmade snow candles will envelop the shrine grounds in a warm glow. In the "Forest of Prayer" area behind the shrine, a fusion of nature and digital art unique to Jozankei will unfold with projection mapping and illuminations, creating a mystical atmosphere in the snow-covered valley.

Additionally, the "Yuki-Toro CAMP Fes" will be held simultaneously on January 26 (Sun) and 27 (Mon) from 18:00 to 21:00. In a campsite-like atmosphere, you can experience wood chopping, bonfires, and tent saunas, and enjoy food and drinks like chicken BBQ, wine, and amazake (sweet fermented rice drink).
