"HANGYODON CAFE ~40th Anniversary~" - A Theme Cafe Celebrating Hangyodon's 40th Anniversary

A theme cafe celebrating the 40th anniversary of Sanrio's popular character, Hangyodon, is now open in Sapporo! Themed around "cherry blossom viewing" and "sakura," the cafe features a menu and exclusive merchandise with newly drawn art, all inspired by Hangyodon enjoying a cherry blossom viewing party with Sayuri-chan and friends.

"Come One, Come All! Hokkaido Geopark Exhibition 2025" - A Fun, Hands-on Event to Learn About Geoparks

An event full of fun, hands-on activities to learn about the six geopark regions in Hokkaido is coming to Shin-Sapporo Sunpiazza! There will be interactive workshops on themes like volcanic rocks, fossils, and Ainu culture. Participants who complete two or more workshops will receive a novelty gift. Some booths will also be selling local specialty products, so be sure to bring the whole family!

"Geimori Kanjiki Walk 2025" - Enjoy a Unique Winter Stroll Wearing Traditional Snowshoes!

Put on "kanjiki," traditional Japanese snowshoes, and take a stroll through the winter wonderland of Sapporo Art Park (Geimori)! Enjoy a unique winter experience with the clear, high blue sky, the soft, pure white snow, and the sunlight illuminating the sculptures.


Participants will receive a "Geimori Kanjiki Walk Pamphlet" which includes a map of the Outdoor Sculpture Garden and information on animal tracks you can find there. The restaurant "Hata no Haru" on the second floor of the Art Park Center is also open for takeout. Grab some warm food and enjoy your kanjiki walk full of energy!
■Dates: Saturday, January 11 - Sunday, March 16
9:45 AM - 3:30 PM (Last admission at 3:00 PM)
*The event may be canceled without notice due to snow conditions or weather.
■Admission: Free
*A separate kanjiki rental fee is required (Adults: 500 yen, Elementary school students and younger: Free)
