"What a cute creature" - A baby seal growing up quickly is soothing! Seeing it moving around so hard makes people say "It's like an angel" and "Grow up big"
A baby seal was born in March this year at the Okhotsk Tokkari Center Seal Land, a seal conservation facility in Monbetsu, Hokkaido. The baby's healthy growth has become a hot topic on social media.
I somehow felt like I wanted to be near water. It seems as if they are inviting me to the water. I was wondering why I wanted to go into that gap. There was water ☺️ You can clearly see it growing day by day.

The baby seal is posing as if it is peering at something, but it seems to be looking for water. It desperately moves around, scratching the facility's pipes, but it can't move as it wants. Its eagerness has warmed the hearts of many people on social media, with comments such as "What kind of cute creature is this?" and "It's too angelic."
The love for seals just won't stop! "My life is about seals" says the zookeeper at the Tokkari Center

The person who posted this is Masato, also known as Uncle Masato, who takes photos of animals in Hokkaido and posts them on social media. He is now an "Azara" who visits the Tokkari Center enthusiastically, but in the past, he "avoided going to animal breeding facilities." He changed his mind after talking to a zookeeper at the Tokkari Center.
The keepers at Tokkari Center just love seals, and they are always around them. Their whole lives are about seals. They are truly seal lovers. They want to protect their beloved seals, and spread the word about their charms. Sensing this feeling, I decided to take a look around the breeding facility, which I had been avoiding, but I was soon drawn in. I believe this is the only place where you can observe seals up close in such a safe environment.

The keepers at the Tokkari Center spend all their time with the seals, treating them like their own children or partners, which is heartwarming to watch, and the seals seem to fully understand this. If you take your time to observe the seals, even after the keepers' explanations and after the training to help them move on their own and follow the keepers' instructions, you'll find them even more fascinating.

"If you come to Monbetsu, please stay overnight and visit the shops around town, including Hamanasu Street," says Masato. Why not visit Monbetsu and watch over the baby seals as they grow up at the Tokkari Center, where you can see the seals up close and personal?
