The Annually Popular Plum Soft Serve Returns at the Hiraoka Plum Blossom Festival

Hiraoka Park is home to about 1,200 plum trees and bustles with nearly 100,000 visitors during the blooming season. You can also enjoy special pop-up shops like "Hiraoka Ume Honpo," which sells limited-edition plum-themed products. It's the perfect opportunity to savor the popular "Plum Soft Serve Ice Cream," available only when the plum blossoms are in bloom, and feel the arrival of spring.

Enjoy Specially Selected Sake and Delicious Gourmet Food Stalls at the 9th Tanuki Nijo Sake Festival

Held at Tanuki Nijo Plaza, this event brings together 50 brands of sake from 14 breweries across Hokkaido, allowing you to fully savor the unique flavors of the region! Special features include the "Aozora Sake BAR," offering a diverse lineup of fruit liqueurs made with Hokkaido and domestic fruits, and the "Sake Garapon" corner, where you can try your luck at a lottery machine to win local sake.

A wide variety of special appetizers that pair perfectly with sake will also be available, so be sure to enjoy them together.

Enter the World of Ukiyo-e with Immersive Video at the Ukiyo-e Super Creator: Utagawa Kuniyoshi Exhibition

This special exhibition introduces the fascinating world of Utagawa Kuniyoshi, an ukiyo-e artist active in the late Edo period, through about 200 of his works. You can enjoy a wide range of genres, including the warrior prints he was famous for, as well as caricatures and prints of beautiful women.


Additionally, an immersive exhibition will be held where you can dive into the world of ukiyo-e through a three-dimensional video space created with 3DCG animation and projection mapping. Why not experience the world of these artworks more intensely through dynamic, moving images?
