A must-see for Miffy fans! MIFFY PORT TOWN, a dreamlike complex with four stores, will open in Otaru, Hokkaido on July 18, 2025. Miffy's multi-purpose shop, "MIFFY PORT TOWN," has opened in Otaru, a popular tourist destination known for the Otaru Canal and Sakaimachi Street. In addition to "Miffy Oyatsudo," which opened in Otaru in 2023, the new shops "Miffy Sea Kitchen," "Miffy Sea Bakery," and "Miffy Patisserie" have been added, and the facility has undergone a major renovation.

Each shop is packed with the world of Miffy, and you can spend a heartwarming time in Otaru's port town surrounded by cute miscellaneous goods and sweets.

Miffy Patisserie, the first Miffy Western-style pastry shop to open in the country, offers a wide selection of sweets that are perfect as gifts or souvenirs, as well as treats for yourself.

"Hokkaido Freshly Baked Cheesecake with Apples" 1,200 yen (excluding tax, estimated price)

"Hokkaido Freshly Baked Cheesecake with Apples" is a cake shaped like Miffy's face, made with cream cheese from Hokkaido. The light cheese flavor is complemented by the exquisite accent of apples. The packaging is microwave and oven safe and can be reused as a mold for making sweets, a great feature for fans.

"Miffy Meets Macaron" 1,500 yen (excluding tax, tentative price)

"Miffy Meets Macarons" is a cute set of three macarons printed with Miffy. The light and chewy macaron dough is sandwiched with cheese, raspberry, and mango flavored cream. The colorful packaging makes it the perfect souvenir.

"Umi no Kitchen & Bakery" has joined the Otaru chain as the sixth branch of "Miffy Kitchen & Bakery." As befits the port city of Otaru, the shop offers a selection of sea-themed goods, including Boris and Barbara in sailor uniforms, and Miffy playing in the sand.

Miffy Oyatsudo Otaru store is filled with seasonal sweets, including Hokkaido-exclusive flavors that are unique to the Otaru store, and a selection of soothing Japanese goods.

Oyatsudo's popular product, Miffy Dorayaki, now has a new flavor available only in Otaru: Miffy Dorayaki with An-Bata. The bean paste made with Hokkaido red beans is flavored with a mellow buttery taste, creating a harmonious combination with the moist and fluffy dough.

"Butter Bowl Candy" 850 yen (excluding tax, tentative price)

Butter Bowl Candy comes in a bottle reminiscent of Otaru's famous glass crafts and is filled with rich, butter-flavored candies that bring back memories of the past! You'll be hooked on the rich, creamy taste.

To celebrate the grand opening on Friday, July 18th, limited-edition products based on the concept of "Spending time with Miffy in everyone's port town" will be available. In addition, to celebrate the opening of the first "MIFFY PORT TOWN" store, a limited edition novelty "swaying acrylic stand" will be distributed to those who spend over 5,000 yen (tax included).
