In Otaru, a popular tourist destination known for the Otaru Canal and Sakaimachi Street, the Miffy complex "MIFFY PORT TOWN" is set to open. In addition to "Miffy's Oyatsu-do," which opened in Otaru in 2023, the facility will be significantly renovated to include the new "Miffy's Ocean Kitchen," "Miffy's Ocean Bakery," and "Miffy Pâtisserie."

Each shop is packed with the charm of Miffy's world, allowing you to spend a heartwarming time in the "port town" of Otaru, surrounded by cute merchandise and sweets.

"Miffy Pâtisserie," the first-ever Miffy specialty pastry shop in Japan, will offer a wide array of sweets perfect not only as a treat for yourself but also as gifts and souvenirs.

"Hokkaido Freshly Baked Cheesecake with Apples" ¥1,200 (tax excluded, planned price)

The "Hokkaido Freshly Baked Cheesecake with Apples" is a Miffy-faced cake made with cream cheese from Hokkaido. The light cheese flavor is perfectly accented by the apples. The packaging is microwave and oven-safe and can be reused as a baking mold—a delightful bonus for fans.

"Miffy Meets Macarons" ¥1,500 (tax excluded, planned price)

"Miffy Meets Macarons" is a cute set of three macarons printed with Miffy. Light macaron shells are filled with cheese, raspberry, and mango flavored creams. The colorful packaging makes it a perfect souvenir.

The sixth location of "Miffy Kitchen & Bakery" joins the family in Otaru as "Ocean Kitchen & Bakery." True to the port town of Otaru, the shop will feature sea-themed goods, including Boris and Barbara in sailor outfits and Miffy enjoying playing in the sand.

"Miffy's Oyatsu-do Otaru" is filled with sweets that evoke the seasons. You'll find Hokkaido-exclusive snacks unique to the Otaru store, alongside comforting Japanese-style miscellaneous goods (zakka).

"Miffy Dorayaki with Red Bean & Butter" ¥460 (tax excluded, planned price)

A new Otaru-exclusive flavor, "Miffy Dorayaki with Red Bean & Butter," is being added to the popular "Miffy Dorayaki" line. Enjoy the harmony of moist, fluffy batter with a filling of coarse red bean paste made from Hokkaido-grown adzuki beans, enhanced with a mellow butter flavor.

"Butter Bowl Candy" ¥850 (tax excluded, planned price)

The "Butter Bowl Candy," presented in a jar reminiscent of Otaru's famous glasswork, is filled with nostalgic, rich butter-flavored candies! The rich, creamy taste is addictive.

To celebrate the grand opening on Friday, July 18, limited-edition products based on the concept "Everyone's Port Town with Miffy" will be available. Furthermore, to commemorate the opening of the first "MIFFY PORT TOWN," customers who spend ¥5,000 (tax included) or more will receive an exclusive novelty item, a "Wobbling Acrylic Stand." (Receipts from the same day can be combined. Available while supplies last.) You can also turn it into an acrylic charm by attaching a ball chain, making it a perfect souvenir of your trip.
