This is a historic summer festival held in Tanukikoji Shopping Street. The famous "Night Bargain" features various events in each block from Tanukikoji 1-chome to 7-chome. From the famous 200 yen beer, to park golf, can stacking, raffles, live music, and more, everyone from children to adults can have fun. Bon Odori to live music in the heart of Sapporo! "Sapporo August Festival 2025"
The Bon Odori festival, held at Akapla, located in front of the former red brick government building, close to Sapporo Station, will be held again this year! The extravagant Bon Odori festival will feature live music by the Sapporo August Festival Special Big Band, a group of local artists selected and organized, and will feature guest Otomo Yoshihide, known for the music in the NHK drama Amachan.
In the venue, which will be covered with large furoshiki wrapping cloth, come sing, dance, relax and enjoy the short summer moment to your heart's content.

[Special Edition] About 4,000 fireworks light up the night sky from Toyohira River at the "Doushin UHB Fireworks Festival"
This fireworks festival is popular among Sapporo residents as a seasonal event that heralds the arrival of summer in Sapporo. The fireworks launched from Toyohira River are divided into three parts, each with a different atmosphere. Approximately 4,000 fireworks, including star mines and elaborate creative fireworks, will light up the night sky.
