EVENT 1 “Hokkaido Art Fireworks 2025”: A Breathtaking Non-Stop 60-Minute Fireworks Display

Set in Sapporo's Moerenuma Park, this fireworks festival is produced by Japan's top pyrotechnicians. Fireworks like starmines and large-shell shakudama fireworks are synchronized with light and sound in a non-stop display. The approximately 60-minute program is truly breathtaking. With 3D effects and dazzling performances set to famous music that you won't see anywhere else, this is a fireworks show worthy of the name “art.” Food and drinks will also be available for purchase at the venue.

■Date & Time: Saturday, September 6, 2025. Fireworks launch from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM (scheduled)

EVENT 2 “Sapporo Sweet Potato Expo 2025”: A Gathering of Sweet Potato Delicacies & Sweets from Across Japan

Famous sweet potato dishes and sweets from all over Japan are coming to Sapporo! A wide variety of “oimo” (sweet potato) delicacies will be available, including baked sweet potatoes, croquettes, pies, and crepes. This event is perfect not only for sweet potato lovers but also for anyone who enjoys food hopping.

EVENT 3 “The Great Dinosaur Exhibition”: See an Impressive Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops Up Close!

A must-see for young dinosaur enthusiasts, this exhibition features a collection of precious full skeletons and real fossils. State-of-the-art animatronic dinosaurs that move and roar will also be on display. The exhibition focuses on the Triassic period when dinosaurs first appeared, the Jurassic period when they grew to enormous sizes, and the Cretaceous period when they diversified. It showcases full skeletons, life-size models, and valuable real fossils. A special shop full of dinosaur merchandise will also be open at the venue.
