The soft light in the cold, clear air gives a sense of warmth!
Shimokawa Town is said to be the birthplace of ice candles, and the Shimokawa Ice Candle Museum was held for the 47th time this year.
I would like to visit there next winter to experience the fantastic experience that is possible only in this town and at this time of the year!
Beautiful Lake Mashu in Teshikaga Town
Lake Mashu is beautiful in all seasons, but the view from the outer rim of the lake with snowshoes, which can only be seen in winter, is especially special.
This year was the first time in two years that I was able to see the frozen surface of the lake.

This is a beautifully captured image of a winter world of white and blue as far as the eye can see!
Lake Mashu boasts the highest transparency in Japan, and the frozen surface of the lake has a different appearance from summer.
It is a place I would like to visit again and again in various seasons.

The round, clear eyes of this one look as if they are going to suck you in!
The Ezo red fox is a member of the weasel family, and despite its cute appearance, it is actually a carnivore. They are said to be quick hunters!
I would like to look into the eyes of the rare Ezo kuroten with my own eyes, even if it is only once!
