The main event at the end, the Kenka Andon (clashing lantern floats), is incredibly powerful and spectacular. You have to see it in person.

The Yotaka Andon Matsuri, held every August in Numata Town, is one of Hokkaido's three great lantern festivals.
The highlight, the "Kenka Andon," is a unique spectacle you can only see at this festival in all of Hokkaido! 👀
The sight of giant lantern floats, 7 meters high, 12 meters long, and weighing 5 tons, crashing into each other is a moment you should definitely witness at least once.
