EVENT 3 Machinaka TAKIBI BAR: A Special Winter-Only Bar Warmed by a Bonfire in Central Sapporo

Machinaka TAKIBI BAR

This winter-only event offers a special time around a bonfire right in the heart of Sapporo. Inside a large bonfire tent set up in the front garden of Cross Hotel Sapporo, the temperature is kept at a comfortable 20°C (68°F) or higher. While gazing at the flickering flames, you can enjoy alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as hot drinks, served by a dedicated bartender. The seating is arranged around the fire pit, allowing the sounds of crackling wood and the movement of the flames to gently stimulate your senses.

Machinaka TAKIBI BAR

This time, the reservation system has been eliminated, making it easier to drop by. The menu is also packed with items that pair well with a bonfire, such as a set that lets you smoke your own toba (dried salmon sticks), cheese, and Baumkuchen. It's a great spot to visit during a break from sightseeing, after work, or for a nightcap during the Snow Festival. The space, created by fantastical illuminations and the bonfire, is also an attractive photo spot.

*Business hours may change or the bar may close due to weather conditions.
